Delta 10 THC? How can it be useful?

The cannabis industry is one of those industries with exponential growth. This is supported by legality in some countries although the legality may differ from one country to another. The legality of some cannabis products combined with the massive online-based marketing is the reason why now anyone can easily get cannabis-based products with just a few clicks.

They can easily choose the product they need and in most cases, it will always be available. There are many types of cannabis products but they are derivatives of cannabis isomers. The most well-known isomer of cannabis is probably Delta 9 THC. But there are others, which are also crawling for popularity such as the Delta 8 THC and the Delta 10 THC. In this article, we will talk about Delta 10 THC and why it can be useful. First of all, what is Delta 10 THC?

You certainly know that the cannabis plant is the source of all isomers/cannabinoids. Each type of cannabinoid has certain effects that are unique to marijuana, including mental, physical, and emotional areas. Likewise with Delta 10 THC. This is the newest cannabinoid on the market. This cannabinoid is predicted to dominate the cannabis market in the next few years. First formed by accident, since then this cannabinoid has attracted the attention of many researchers and cannabis lovers.

The difference with other cannabinoids, of course, lies in their molecular structure. It is related to the position of the carbon bonds that although their chemical formula is the same, the effect (by each of them) can be very different. Delta 10 THC has a double bond on the 10th carbon chain, Delta 8 THC has a double bond on the 8th chain, and so on. How does Delta 10 THC interact with the human body? Each cannabinoid has certain interactions with the body, as does Delta 10 THC. In general, they maintain homeostasis affecting the endocrine system, brain, immunity, and much more. One of the most popular is their ability to “bear pain”.

The human endocannabinoid system, in essence, has two main receptors called CB1 and CB2. CB1 is responsible for the central nervous system, kidneys, liver, and lungs, while CB2 is responsible for hematopoietic cells. Delta 8 and Delta 9 have a large influence on CB1 and thus they have a large psychotropic effect. In the case of Delta 10, it did not have as much of an effect as the two cannabinoids and it also interacted with both receptors in “balanced proportions”.

It can be concluded that the resulting psychotropic effects are not as large as Delta 8 and Delta 10. Yes, Delta 10 can produce euphoria but it does not produce paranoia and anxiety. This is why these cannabinoids tend to be used more and more in various forms, such as Delta 10 gummies. Today, consumers tend to take profits and offset losses. And in the case of cannabis products selection, Delta 10 THC-based products are the most rational option.
