I’ve been lucky enough to pedal through most of Tuscany. I’ve pedaled along the long and scenic Via Francigena, the challenging and beautiful open road of Lucca, the narrow and winding streets of Pisa, I’ve taken a dip into the past by riding the route of the cyclostorica l’ardita.
Tuscany is a truly incredible place. The hills are steep and the valleys are lush with olive groves and vineyards. The towns are picturesque and beautiful, with buildings that carefully blend architecture from all over Europe into one harmonious whole. Bike paths are scattered throughout the region, making for a wonderful mix of trails.
